Pick up patterns on a Rigid Heddle Loom

Weave intricate patterns with a pick up stick and a single heddle on a rigid heddle loom.

Lace looking patterns are achieved with a single heddle and a pick up stick. Huck lace floats, Leno lace and more will be explored in this 3 hour course. You will create a sampler of different patterns to use in your future projects.

Bring your pre-warped rigid heddle loom with a minimum 1 yard warp in a single yarn (solid or variegated). Please choose your heddle size to accommodate the grist of your warp. Bring a small amount of a similar grist (weight) yarn as weft.

Please bring two flat shuttles and scissors for this course.

Instructor will provide a detailed booklet highlighting different pattern options and all instructional materials.
